We were disappointed and saddened to learn that Go To Places was to cease trading, resulting in an immediate pause of the Visit Herts Destination Management service which has successfully championed Hertfordshire as a tourism destination for the past 10 years.
Positive discussions are ongoing with Hertfordshire Futures/Hertfordshire County Council to provide an interim service until the current contract expiry date of March 2026. This will facilitate a full review of the future Destination Management Service requirement for the county beyond this date. The Visit Herts Board and Hertfordshire Futures/Hertfordshire County Council remain committed to Hertfordshire being a vibrant tourist destination that will benefit its residents and businesses.
