We are aware of the announcement that Go To Places, the Local Visitor Economy Partner (LVEP) for Visit Herts, has ceased trading and is entering liquidation. This is clearly disappointing news, and our immediate priority is to understand the implications for the tourism sector in Hertfordshire, as well as to support the staff, partners and stakeholders affected by this development.

Hertfordshire County Council and Hertfordshire Futures remain fully committed to supporting the county’s visitor economy. We are actively engaging with relevant partners to ensure continuity of support for local tourism businesses and to explore options for safeguarding the progress made in recent years.

We would like to thank Go To Places for their contribution in promoting Hertfordshire as a visitor destination and for their work with local communities and businesses. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
